My group and I started filming our
PSA today, and it was really weird. We went to the library in the Stewart
center Friday after our conferences and asked the librarians if we could film
in there. We found out we could film as long as no one else was in the
background without their permission. Then the librarian lady took us back to
what she called the stacks. It’s this place in the back of the HSSE library
called the periodicals. And the first floor isn’t that bad. Then when you get
up to the third floor the place gets creepy. It was poorly lit and creepy, but
no one was back there so it worked for filming purposes. Overall we had a
pretty efficient day. We filmed all but two scenes. We just need the opener and
the computer scene. Almost done!
This weekend was interesting too. Friday,
the anime club had a Halloween party. I got all dressed up to go, and then my friend came downstairs and said she didn’t
want to go. So I got all dressed up in my little togepi outfit, and didn’t even
get to go anywhere. Depressing, I know. Instead, we stayed in my room and
watched Ru Paul’s drag race. I love Ru Paul. Then on Saturday I got the
confirmation for my ticket at Ohayocon. Ohayocon is a fairly large anime and Japanese
popular culture convention in Columbus, Ohio. It isn’t until January 18th,
but normally I buy my tickets back in September. There is just one problem this
year, getting there for the con. I did find a ride thoug, obviously or else I wouldn’t
have bought the ticket. Now I just need to figure out who/what to dress up as
for the con. I was thinking possibly Misty, that would be easy. I wanna do
Marcelene from Adventure time as well. Then again I also wanna be a nurse, from
the Silent Hill franchise. I still have yet to decide. These are the things I think
about instead of doing homework.
